It’s Good to Talk
It can sometimes be difficult to talk to your parents or family when living at home is tough! It can also be difficult to have contact with your family if you have been living away from home as a result of a fallout or dispute with your parents.

If this is relevant to you and you would like more information, then Throughcare may be able to assist you.

How can Throughcare assist you?

• if you are 15-21 yrs old
• worried about your home situation
• homeless
• feeling lonely or isolated and in need of support

Need someone to listen?

• Mediation can help you with
• talking through your situation
• making contact with your family (if appropriate)
• facilitating contact between you and your family (if appropriate)
• establishing family/parental support for you
• access to support services
• parent support
• workshops

Alternatively, you can discuss this with your social worker, support worker, homeless officer or parent who can ask for more information. A duty service is also available in Girvan on Wednesdays between 1pm-4pm.
